About Walt I have been licensed to practice Real Estate in the State of Washington since 1978 and held a broker's license since 1983. In 1986 I attained the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation of the Realtors National Marketing Instutute. My educational career started with nine years of college as history, horticulture, and business majors. Thereafter I attended many professional improvement seminars and classes aimed towards the certified Property Manager designation. Property management expertise helps my clients and I in invesment brokerage because it furnishes a much greater understanding of the problems and opportunities involved in operating properties after the sale closes. This helps to more accurately project income and expenses in the future which will enhance decision making for purchase or sale of real property. •We will place a Windermere Real Estate sign on the property. •We are able to market our listings to all CCIM's in the world through being connected to www.ccim.com. •We use www.Loopnet.com- a nation-wide multiple listing service •In addition to this page, we have a Windermere-based homepage for added internet exposure for listings. •Commercial broker's association is a state- wide multiple listing database distributed to all members of the Commercial Real Estate Agents in Washington State . •Internet methods: •Industrial properties will be placed on the WDN Online web site through the Economic Development Association of Skagit County if appropriate. Marketing Methodology •Depending on the type of property, we subsequently advertise in local newspapers, Vancouver, BC , Seattle, and Everett publications, The Wall Street Journal, specific trade journals, and wherever else cost-effective exposure can be utilized. •We have in-house capability to produce brochures for direct mailing and distribution to other commercial agents •We prepare property booklets that contain information that is relevant to a prospective buyer, tenant, or other agent and bundle it into a bound booklet. These typically inlude photographs, aerial photographs, building and site drawings, zoning and land use information , and annual property operating data and cash flow analysis forms. |
